Vinyasa Stretch and Flow
Vinyasa Flow and Stretch will focus on linking conscious breath with a mindful flow. In this class, students awaken their strength, energy, and flexibility in a fun atmosphere. Classes are a calm- to medium-level pace and intensity, beginning from a place of ease and working into a challenge. At the end of class, there will be time to quiet yourself and soak it all in.
Slow and Easy Gentle Yoga
Slow and Easy Gentle Yoga is a class structured around rejuvenating and healing the body. This class is held at a slower pace and focuses on stretching the body, while releasing stress and tension from joints and muscles. This class is for new and all level students.
All Level Yoga
Come joins us for All Level Yoga! All Level Yoga is fitting for everyone! These class are open to all levels of practice. Beginners and students with an existing practice looking for a class which combines breath work and postures to help stretch and strengthen the body with options and modification given by the instructor throughout the class!
Heat It Up Power Flow
This class starts off with a couple of breathing exercises, coming in to the present moment, followed by a few warm-up stretches and a round or two of sun salutations to loosen up the body. From here, we'll move into a powerful vinyasa flow set to some light heat using 4 dish heaters, followed by a relaxing savasana.
The Sunday Reset
The Sunday Reset is a great way to reset your mind, body, and spirit and bring yourself back into balance. Class starts off with a few breathing exercises, and six rounds of traditional sun salutations to get the energy moving evenly through the body. This is followed by a small handful of stretches and restorative poses. This is not a difficult class, and beginners are welcome. The purpose of this class is to bring relaxation and balance back to all aspects of the person practicing. Traditional yogic philosophy is also a regular part of the class. The last 30 minutes of class are a meditation where the class makes themselves comfortable and Mark plays the Himalayan singing bowls, or a set of quartz singing bowls, and then offers Reiki, which is optional. The singing bowls help to bring balance wherever there is imbalance in the mind, body, and spirit. This isn't a class anyone needs to be anxious about coming to; this is all about relaxing and resetting, whatever that means to each individual.
After Work Guided Meditation and Sound Therapy
This class is just as beneficial to beginners as well as experienced meditators. All that is required of the students is to make themselves as comfortable as they can using the cushions, blankets and props in the room. Each class will vary in the type of meditation, ranging from guided imagery, yoga nidra, silence, etc. Meditation is a great form of relaxation and giving the mind and body the rest it truly needs.
Mark will be using various sound healing tools throughout the class. These include, 7 Tibetan singing bowls, 7 quartz crystal bowls, a set of 7 chimes, and a quartz crystal sound healing pyramid to help induce a state of relaxation and balance wherever there is imbalance in the mind, body, and spirit. These instruments are all set to the frequencies of the main energy centers in the body. The health benefits of these sounds are too many to mention, however they range from reducing anxiety, anger, physical and emotional pain, and resetting all the organs and systems in the body. Great way to relieve our day-to-day stress!! NOTE: This class has been put on hold temporarily.
